We Still got it…. Parkour!

If you don’t know what that is then you’re not alone, even now parkour is regarded as a very sub-culture sport which is just beginning to hit the main stream in North America. Parkour is essentially getting from point A to point B as fluidly as possible, and if there happens to be some obstacles in the way….great! Basically, it’s tons of fun so we thought that we should do it at Cedarwood. In fact, we’re building an entire parkour course with the aim of giving everyone a healthy challenge regardless of their age and ability. We will have tons of different obstacles and scenarios for campers to master while they polish their new found love of parkour.

Canoeing, Kayaking & Sailboarding
Like coasting through the water? Try your hand at one of these water chariots and rule the lake with a paddle or sail. Grapple with the wind and water and win the battle of the seas. Bring it on waves!

Skateboarding & BMX
The ’50′s brought us great things, Elvis, Mr. Potato Head and SKATEBOARDING! Come and surf on our great ramps and rails with your friends. Or glide and bunnyhop around the skatepark with a BMX.

Wakeboarding and Water Skiing
All systems go! Our 3 amazing boats, skis and boards are ready to race across the water this summer. Learn how or learn new tricks. Go all out! Ride the wake! Ski the water! Show them you’re a tiger!

Fencing
My name is Inigo Montoya, you killed my father… Well, the Princess Bride has nothing on our skill – but you will learn how to wield a sword so you can defeat the 6 fingered man and impress your friends. We’ve got the swords, suits and supplies to make you into a swordsman. En Gaurd!

Creative Explosion
KABLAMO! Let your imagination run wild in the magical land of arts and crafts. Take some glue, paint and scissors and let your creativity explode into a one of a kind work of art. Who knows what exciting creations you can make.

Mountain Biking
Whether it’s up and over the hills or down into a muddy pit, let our Mountain Bikes help you conquer the trails in our forest. Attack the terrain with all your guts and find out where it can take you. This ain’t your kid sisters tricycle, this is Mountain Biking!

Beach Volleyball
Bump. Set. Spike! All the fun, glory and competitiveness of volleyball comes to the Cedarwood beach. Learn some new skills or take yours to the extreme. In no time you will be serving up mad skills.

Archery
Step out of the Sherwood Forest into our regal archery range. Learn how to shoot an arrow like the great Robin Hood and hit the target with style. Tights and feathered hat not included.

Sport Climbing
What a cliff hanger this activity is. Put on your helmet and climbing shoes and join us at our climbing wall. Climb quickly to great heights or test your technique on our advanced walls. Our staff will give you the tips and tricks to make it up the wall.

Paintball (a cabin kickback option)
Cabin vs. Cabin. Take to the paintball field and defend your base. Practice your aim or test your ability to escape the fury of a flying paintball. With two unique paintball fields you’ll be able to hone your skills at either bush attacks in the wilderness track or urban assault in our new speed ball course. We’ve got thousands of paintballs just waiting to be shot!
